Milan Dragway adds Combo Class Racing for 2024!
 

In an era when tracks are closing and Class Racing is facing hard times, Milan Dragway has added a Stock-S/S-NSS Combo series to its 2024 schedule. Special thanks to Jimmy Ronzello for working with Milan to make it happen and also sponsoring the JRP Stock and Super Stock Series. These races will be in addition to the GLSSA series that has 7 races scheduled for 2024 including one at Milan on August 11. It's a great time for Class Racing in the Great Lakes region.

The series is open to any Class Legal, NHRA, IHRA, NMCA, & Nostalgia Super Stock cars. JRP Stock and Super Stock Series race dates are as follows:

Sunday, May 12th
Sunday, June 16th
Sunday, July 7th
Sunday, August 18th
Sunday, September 15th
Sunday, October 13th

Entry fees and payouts to be released at a later date.

Thanks for the info Mike.

I hope that tracks in ALL divisions that are struggling or looking for other ways to attract racers look at this format. Have each track work with their local associations, if they have one. This way it gets more people involved and can be a win - win for all concerned.

If the entry fees are kept reasonable, the payouts decent, and the schedule is such that many racers are able to attend, it will work for everyone.

Is there still going to be the Div 3 National open that was scheduled Aug. 9-11 weekend also.

On the six combo races are they just Sunday only or will there also be bracket races Saturday ?

Reminder: The first of 6 the JRP Stock-S/S-NSS Combo races at Milan Dragway is this Sunday May 12. Yes, it's Mother's Day but please do your best to support this Series. You know how it works.... the better the support the better it gets for the Series in the long run.
