Re: 1966 Chevelle Malibu SS/NA
You forgot to say that this combo is rated at 217hp. Chevy IIs and GT is 233. This is a great combo with that power on it and could run SS O N M. Tom

Re: 1966 Chevelle Malibu SS/NA
The sticker would be for SS/OA. Was this Clayton Kolers old car? Tom

Re: 1966 Chevelle Malibu SS/NA
The 66 Chevelle 2 door car is a L-M-N car with automatic, has to been a wagon to make SS/OA

Re: 1966 Chevelle Malibu SS/NA
SS/N is 15.00 - 15.99, so:
217 x 15.00 = 3255 + 170 lb driver = 3425 |
Re: 1966 Chevelle Malibu SS/NA
Sorry had my math mixed up. I thought it would fit L. Tom

Re: 1966 Chevelle Malibu SS/NA
Yes, Clayton's old car. The only things changed are:
Removed old decals All new short block, and I mean all if it. Heads tuned up a little and spring locaters added (Wes King) Electric shifter solenoid added Transbrake button upgraded to dash mount Two step added Both door bars now swing out for easier ingress/egress Transmission rebuilt Rear differential fluid changed to synthetic (but the old stuff could have been synthetic for all I know) |
