Question About COPO Camaro Value?
 

I have a question about 2015 COPO Camaro value:

As some of you know I have a 1970 Nova street car for sale here (and elsewhere). It's a pretty nice car.

Yesterday, a fellow called and offered a straight across trade for what amounts to a brand new, never raced 2015 Camaro (427-TH400, Resale Red over black interior).

My big question is, what's the COPO worth? And how hard a sell is it?

Just my opinion, and I am no expert, but I'd ask myself why he's trying to trade for a street car when he could sell it as a race car? I'm guessing it is "as sold" and not race prepped? I'd guess it's a hard sell these days.

Good luck with the sale of the Nova, looks like a great car.

Thanks for the response. I think you're right about the difficulty selling. It's one of many COPO's that went to a collector instead of a racer -- so no race prep.

And thanks for the comps about the Nova...it's a fabulous car.
