Longtime V/s stock eliminator racer Steve Tarrance suffered a stroke a few months ago. He is now at home in Bremen,Ky. and Hospice has been called in. I am asking for prayers for Steve and his family.

Steve was a terror in Combo 1 at the Union Hill every Saturday night in his V/S 194 Chevy II.

Sadly, Steve passed away yesterday. I remember him as a quiet man who spoke very softly. On rare occasions when Steve spoke, I listened very closely. As Larry stated earlier, Steve was a terror in Combo 1 (no breakout ) at Music City Raceway back in the day. No one wanted to run the lil 194 cubic inch Chevy II …. Urban Folklore in the Kentucky/Tennessee area reports that Steve had one of the first cylinder heads that was shall we say, chemically enhanced…Muhlenberg county lost a good one, Prayers sent for the family …..GODSPEED. !!!
