I'm somewhat jealous of the Lawrence/Gump feud going on this weekend.
The absolute best times that I ever had running Stock or SS were when I was racing my Green '70 Nova in V/SA (230/140) along with my dear old buds Greg Schmutz (RIP), '80 Chevy Malibu (229/140) and Larry Munk, '78 Pontiac Lemans (231/130).
We would constantly trash-talk and verbally abuse each other then help each other out with our individual combos and go out for dinner together.
Best of times for sure and I miss them!

So many people have asked if we are friends on this deal. Yes, we have talked smack back and forth forever.
I have been blessed to drive 3 or 4 of Daren and Veronica's COPO's.

I think that he has a closet attachment to my car as he was photographed in close proximity to it when it was being painted at Turn Key.

It is part of making good memories...and friendships.
Reminds me of when Rich Oakes (RIP) and I were both bouncing the SS/CX record around... Had a lot of fun talking about racing and life, too.
Sure miss those times.
