Goodyear D 4827 or D 5202 feedback .
I know another tyre question .
Can anyone give me some feedback on the Goodyear D 4827 , 30x9 (29.5 tall - 92.5 rollout ) or D 5202 30x9 ( 29.6 tall - 93.1 rollout) Near 3800 lb 68 Satellite on Caltracs , footbrake 10.30 range . I know the 4827 may be an older type , I also know there is the newer 5202 with a improved compound . As the 5202 is for Factory Stock type cars would this be better for a heavier car ? Talking to Goodyear distributor here in Oz its a lucky dip for them in what they order vs what they get . I may use Tbrake later but have gone back to footbrake on my current Hoosier 30x10.5 radial slick .(29.5 tall) How many passes approximately ? It also is a price point as the 4827 is more than $120.00 cheaper per tyre at the moment compared to Hoosier PS my mate is also interested for his 62 Belair @ 3950lbs using Tbrake . Thanks in advance Tex |

Tex - dude sorry I’ve got no info regarding your query, but feel compelled to respond.
1. In this hemisphere it’s “tire” or you could go with “slick”. 2. Is Tex a common name down under? :) |
