Question about a stocker
 

There is a 67/68 Mustang coupe that was a 390 car ran C&D/SA it was Shawn Allex’s then David Toren had it, does anyone know who has it now and if it’s still running

I believe this Mustang is in Fayetteville,Ga. Everett Hill drove the car but passed away last year. Although not positive, I believe his son James still has the car ….

since you seem to be very knowledgeable about our community. do you know what happened to Jeff Ferguson's Volare after he passed?

I had no idea that Jeff Ferguson had passed away. In the mid to late 1990’s Jeff built many great running MOPAR engines for his car as well as Andy Thornburg’s car. Andy and his friend Andy Allegri were great guys to race with. I haven’t heard their names mentioned in decades. The late Terry Pearson also lived in that area and was a heck of a super stock racer.

i just found out about a month ago. i could not figure out why i lost all contact with him. turns out he died of cancer in 2003. I ended up buying my 73 duster from his group. he was going to build a new 340 for me when i lost contact

I think Rusty Johnson bought that '67 390 Mustang from Dave Toren and raced it for several years before he passed away in 2020.

The car Rusty Johnson had was purchased from Neal Rhodes in Colorado. Neal built the car, he raced it in super stock originally after he built it then put it into stock and ran in C/SA before selling it for his current super stock car.
