Which classes are at risk for AHFS hit?

Just curious for some Stock/SS hot stove. I'm sure a lot will get reviewed and don't know if the new review process will have any effect on it yet?

I don't think that the new process will take place until Jan.1/2023. We still
have the mineshaft races for this review period.

McNeal Freeman has been on a one man crusade asking for more HP for his V/Sa taxi.

I'm sure Nitro Joe could figure it out, but it's hard enough to figure out you're own combo average unless you are a one car average like me.

Do you think it will be harder or easier with next years AFHS rules to keep the average down all year? some cars are capable of running 1.3 or more under everywhere. So killing .5 or more all the time, even in mineshaft conditions could be tough, or maybe not. It's not a problem I have, so I haven't had to deal with it. There are some that don't care and let it all fly, and then like a couple years ago, someone has to haul their car across the country to a race at the end of the year to run .4 under to fix what someone else did to their combo. A couple races that would have been mineshaft before may do a hurting on an average that doesn't have enough slow cars in it to fix that.

Our 2012 Ford Coyote stick shift rated at 325 Horsepower was certainly triggered and would have been reviewed. I myself ran -1.16 and -1.12 under at the Sports Nationals IIRC. I did my best to "sandbag" many slow runs to reduce what deeds I had done.

George likes to run fast and saved Pat the work of calculating the runs by running -1.215 at Vegas this weekend. I think that he was #1 qualifyer at 4 or 5 events. Still has Pomona but will need to add a few pounds.

So come Monday we are going to get a 3.25 percent award. It was inevitable as this combination was very soft.

JRP does and great job with these Coyote stockers. I will be fine but others might need to spend a little if they want to be fast.

I'm done for the year. See everyone at PRI.

Robin
