front tire chocks
Looking for some help...
when I had my dragster, I had some molded rubber chocks that the front tires sat in. I guess they weren't really chocks, but more of a saddle that captured and located the front tires. I thought they were a nice deal and have recommended them to someone I've sold a trailer to. One problem, I can't find them at Jegs or Summit, and I can't remember who made them or where I got them. Anyone familiar with what I'm trying to describe? Thanks |
Re: front tire chocks
Dan - I believe that they're "wheel cradles" from the people that make those inflatable chassis stabilizers (also a must for dragsters)

Re: front tire chocks
Dan I came up with an idea using the Rotary Lifts tire plates. They assure that the car is in the trailer at the same exact spot. Go to http://www.rotarylift.com they should be able to help you find a local dealer in your area. Additionally, I use a plate for each wheel.
