Passing of David Jackson
 

Our racing family lost another member yesterday morning. Sadly, Mike and I woke to a text letting us know David had passed around 4am. Mike or myself had communicated with David, either texting or actually talking almost every day last week. We were hopeful and somewhat encouraged that he would recover but sadly, that was not the case. Please keep his mother, brother and his many friends in your prayers as this was very unexpected. Funeral arrangements are pending but I will update as soon as I know more.

LORD he had a good soul, I loved talking to him at the track, he loved to go fast, prayers for his family he will be truly missed

Can't believe he is gone, just talked with him thought he was going to be okay. Please Rest In Peace Dave, we are sure going to miss talking with you. Godspeed!!

Very shocked to hear the passing of David. I met David and his friend Donald 30 years ago. We remained great friends throughout the years. Condolences to his family and friends. God bless David! Bobby and Nancy Rashid.

Very sorry to hear that David has passed away, Raced David many times in the old days of IHRA. David was a good friend and a hard racer. Prayers to his family and friends.

Visitation will be tonight 10/25 from 5-8 pm at McFarlands Funeral Home in Tryon, NC. The family will have a private burial.
Please continue to pray for his family and our hometown community as this is a huge loss on a number of levels.

Go rest high on that mountain my friend! Man...we had some great battles BITD in IHRA, and ss/production class with your wagon and my '57 in H. RIP brother!
