There were a couple of thoroughbreds running at Toronto Motorsports Park on Saturday in the NHRA National Open. The Mustangs of Jean Tremblay of St. Georges Quebec verses Trevor Edmond of Canfield Ontario. Tremblay's 2012 Stang runs in Factory Stock/H with a 302 and Edmond's 1995 GT/I Automatic Stang runs a 460. Both cars are equally immaculate! Second photo is Dave Turner who was running in D/Stock Automatic this weekend in his 72 Mustang and Jamie Groves SS/CS 71 Comet.

One of these two racers must have won the long distance award at the Division 1 NHRA National Open at Toronto Motorsports Park yesterday. Let's figure it out. Bill Kelly's Camaro came from Long Point Nova Scotia and that's 20h 10 mins (2027.26 km) or 1359.68 miles and Bill Sheppard's Duster came from Lakeview Nova Scotia and that's 19h 10 mins (1923.74 km) or 1195.35 miles. Mr. Kelly's your winner but either way, they're both dedicated racers! ..............Spoiler Alert!!!! ................ Turns out that Bill Kelly is from Long Point New Brunswick, not Nova Scotia so ....... Bill Sheppard is the long distance winner! :-)
