Scale and Weighing Accuracy Question

Recently converted a livestock scale to a scale that will weigh one wheel at a time. If all wheels are exactly level including the scales, is there any reason I will not get an accurate weight adding all 4 corners ??? The scales are dead accurate and calibrated. Thanks for any opinions.

I used to two of those scales and wooden block risers of the same height as the scales for the other two wheels. No problems with this set up. They belonged to Wayne Gapp! That’s what he used.

You should not have an issue.
Probably more accurate than the scales at many racetracks!

Good morning, as long as the scales are equal heights to each other , those scales will be accurate. Also try to get the wheel/tire as close to the middle of the scale will help as well. I know sometimes wheel offset and body overhang might push the scales from the centers of the wheels. Also - Please be sure to put the car in "Park" or in "Gear" so it doesn't roll off the scales. The other posts here are also very good information.
