Shipping a Car info
 

Looking at buying and ex stocker in Michigan and having it shipped to Delaware. I have a few questions as to who to use to ship it and how does the payment work so both of us are comfortable about the transaction. Hoping someone has done this and knows the do”s and don’ts. Thanks

I used Plycar-enclosed, excellent service and the contracted carrier for Porsche/Aston Martin and Jaguar
made a credit card payment deposit, paid balance to driver when car arrived safely. Moved my SS from Minnesota to SoCal in 3 days
as for vehicle payment, I purchased from a well known (SS) forum member and I was able to use google earth to see his address with the car in his driveway from the year before so I did not have any doubts about our transaction-I wired the money from my back account to his so there was a verifiable paper trail of where the money went.

I’ve had 2 trailers shipped to my house by using: uship.com
Did not have any problems.
Same payment program that Scott mentioned in the above thread.

Thanks for the input, it was a great start. If the deal falls thru if anyone knows of a Nhra stocker or a Crate motor stocker near Delaware in the 15k range let me know.

Put a WTB post in the cars for sale section.
You might have luck with someone selling a crate motor car but
remember you Can’t race in Divisional races.
You can race in Div 2 Open Races & S/SS assoc races.

Thanks for the info. I have found a car and going to convert it to a legal NHRA stocker.
