Race Of Champions qualifying field is set!
 

Midwest Factory Finishes Race Of Champions update:

With the final qualifying weekend at Earlville, Iowa in the books, the qualifying field is now set. Initially, there were 22 possible spots open for the 16 car qualified field. With some events being lost to the pandemic last season and a few rained out days, we ended up with 17 drivers to qualify for the 16 car field. The qualified drivers are:

Logan Wernet
Mike Mans
Jamie Picht
John McLaughlin
Alex Wiese
Matt Steen
Johnny Diekema
Tom Lewis

Brett Speer
Matt Lund

Starting next week, we'll be contacting each driver individually and getting their commitments to be at the race. In the event that some may not be able to attend, we're putting the names of the event runner ups into a hat and will draw for alternates. At the event, we'll have the alternate names in play should one of the 16 that qualify be unable to make the call for the first round.

In the event that any of the 16 qualifiers can't make the first round, we'll go to the first alternate and continue down the list, if needed. The alternates list was determined by taking the runner ups to the qualifying events and drawing the names out of a hat. The alternates are, in order:

-Stephanie Diekema
-Steve Koppien
-Sam Reuland
-Steve Hutar
