Spectating at Zmax
 

I got tickets to go spectate next Friday at Zmax. On line it has a 1:00 time. Iwant to get in at 9:00 to watch sportsmen qualifying. Can't get anybody at track to return my call. Cody at div.2 didn't see a problem getting in. But I hate to get there and wait 4 hours and miss qualifying. Any suggestions?

I'd say that's what time the pros first qualifying is. I'm pretty sure you can get in the gate at anytime. It's been a couple of years but I never had problems getting in as a specatator regardless of time.

I have gone to Zmax several times; you won't have any problems getting in for Sportsman qualifying. As was mentioned, the 1:00 time is for the first session of Pro qualifying. Enjoy and have fun.

Thanks for the info. I did have a problem a few years ago as a participant going through sportsman gate at 8am to get ready for qualifying. Hope that is cleared up. So thanks again guys.

According to the schedule that is posted

FRIDAY
9 AM sportsman qualifying
245 PM sportsman eliminations first round


look at the top of this screen and hit the NHRA competition spot ---then go to National schedule in the left tool bar---then select Charlotte and you will get the event schedule

Detailed run schedule usually come out the tuesday of the race week.
