Dumb questions but new for me

Running Lucas Oil for the first time with an I/SA mid 11 second Nova

1- Can you get your competition license / number right at the gate when showing up for the divisional or do I need to do that now ? (Race end of May)

2- How or where do I go to enter the Division 1 opener at Maple Grove ?

No you need to contact the Division 1 director. He will walk you through the process.....

Contact NHRA Competition Licensing. The website is www.nhraracer.com
You'll need a membership a NHRA competition License, and number.

As stated above you will need to get your license and competition number before you can enter Maple Grove. The forms can be found on Nhraracer website and I would advise contacting the DD tomorrow and maybe he can expedite the process since we are this close. When I first applied by mail for a number and license it took several weeks so hopefully he can help you get it done a little faster.

Once the forms are in they will send you a temp. license out pretty quickly. I think the temp. comes from the D1 office

Also as the event gets closer you will probably see a link put up by D1 or I'm sure Ken or one of the Admins might put it on here to fill out your tech card and buy the tickets. They will do "spot checks" in the lanes on tech on items you might have missed but, once you have purchased everything you print it out and when you get to the gate, hand it to the girls. It can be a little tricky at first but, I'm sure everyone on here will help you fill out the info online if you have issues.
