The motor city is now without a local dragway. I LOVE THIS TRACK. SMOOTH AND LOTS OF PITTING

Michigan has a grand total of ZERO NHRA tracks and the state of Alaska, the country of Kuwait and Bahrain now has more NHRA member tracks than Michigan.

Lots of drama with that track for years while the owners and management ran it into the ground. Somehow the owners borrowed money from Les Gold of the 8 Mile Pawn Shop reality series and defaulted.....and he won his case in court. That’s why it will not open for the start of the season. It will have a new owner and TBD if it will open again.
