1970 AMC AMX seats

Auction is for (1) pair of seats, left & right.

Reupholstered to original black vinyl with factory style ventilear (mesh) inserts. Both seats have sewn in cut-outs to accomodate the rear center and crotch center strap of a race 5-point harness. The rear is for the 3" strap and the crotch is for the 2" strap. The plastic rear panels are used and include the cutout and also has NHRA required roll-bar support.

I used these seats in my NHRA D/Stock '70 AMX. Seats are original 1970 AMX. I believe they can also be used in other AMC vehicles such as the Javelin, Machine, Hornet, Jeep but that determination must be made by the bidder, not I.

There are no tears, rips, stains in the vinyl. These look fantastic and are very comfortable (foam was also replaced). Rear panels are dusty in the pictures, clean up with armour-all just fine (they have never been painted). Perfect for Stock Appearing Drags, Stock Eliminator, street performance, or any other class that does not allow light-weight racing seats. I have since moved to SuperStock/H which does allow aftermarket, lite-weight seats. They take up a lot of room in the shed and I don't want them to get torn by the kids so let's move them out!
