Thanks Guys/Houston S/SS race

I hope I don't forget anyone, but thanks to everyone who helped me this weekend with my car. Try as we may my electrical gremin was never found. Ronnie Browne for letting me borrow a MSD box, Doug Elverud for the 2-step, and Bob Utsler, RJ Sledge, Curt, and my son who spent all weekend under the dash in that little Chevy II. We changed the box, 3-step, ground wires, batteries, etc,etc and it still would not run above 7000 rpm at any point down the track. it acts like its on the chip all in all 4 gears. Even when we completly disconnected the 3-step it did it.In the pits 9000 if you want but not under load. Some said it might be the tach. Who knows. Anyway great race. Jimmy Hutto over Austin Ford in final. Thanks to Stan Holt for the $100 for Hard luck racer of the weekend. I really didn't want to win that. Thanks all. Racers are great when you have a problem.
