East Coast Stock Super Stock Association Today
3 Attachment(s)
East Coast Stock Super Stock Association had there final race of the season today. I was not racing, I just wanted to stop by as I live very close to Atco. Dave Ley and crew always put on a great race, and they always get great car counts. Today was no different, 71 cars showed today, who says Class Racing is dying.
Anyway, they were still racing when I left so I don't have any results. Please someone chime in and give us the results for today. I got a few pics of the pits, sorry folks I did not think to bring my camera. BTW way it was in the mid 70's and sunny, a great day for racing. Can't wait for next year.. |

Re: East Coast Stock Super Stock Association Today
So here is my take on yesterdays Stock/Super stock combo at Atco ----I came for several different reasons .
1) Support of the ECSSSA 2) It looked like it was going to be a drop dead beautiful day 3) It was more than likely to be the last outing this year for me 4) I wanted to get some passes on a new combination in good air and new rubber 5) Last but not least - with all the rumors going around about Atco being sold it could very have been the last time ever for me to race at Atco - someplace I've going to since the early seventies . Well to tell the truth i wasn't let down as temp was in the upper seventies- the track had teeth and with the barometer @ 30.25.Plus the the joint was packed - you couldn't ask for more . I can tell you for sure that Joe Sway was looking down and smiling .......... |
