Indy National Open
 

Any information on the Indy National Open on 10/17 & 10/18? Test & Tune on Friday? Is the AHFS in effect at this race? It could be fast next week. Thanks.

They usually have T & T on the Friday before the event. Last year they charged $100.00 to participate in it. It's a national open so no AHFS will be in effect.

Just got a email from NHRA to enter on line for the open . Test and tune is $50., and is from noon to 5 on Friday. You can enter bracket race on Saturday(1/8 th mile) to get extra runs also. Looks to be 70s Friday, and 50s Saturday, Sunday.

I used to love going to the Indy Fall Classis back when my T-Bird was in record setting form.

In Oct. 2015 NHRA allowed us to make our 1st pass at a record attempt during the Friday's test-n-tune session.

I was at work and heard about it. I left work, went home and hitched up and made the 3 1/2 hour drive. Got there just in time to get in line for the Friday record run.

After the 2nd pass on Sat. morning I was the 1st into the barn :)

There were a lot of racers that set records that weekend

Can you pay at the gate? To answer my own question. Yes, you can pay at the gate. I called and spoke with a very nice lady and confirmed that will be allowed.
