Sportsmanship At The Sportsnationals
First off everyone was happy to be racing and seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
I'm sure there were plenty of courtesies displayed by many, but I need to share this example with y'all. First round of class in FS/D: Taylor gets the win light against Ross. Taylor's engine breaks at the end of the run and will not be able to race. So to let Ross get back in for class Jeff bypassed the scales and fuel check. That some quick thinking by the multi-time Champ. To some it may not mean much but to me it ranks high on the list. |

Very quick thinking on Taylor's part ........

Re: Sportsmanship At The Sportsnationals
Always a class act, not surprised that he would've thought of that. Me I would've been so disgusted about my motor I wouldn't never be able to think like that.

A very classy thing to do. That is the mark of a true champion. Way to go Jeff.

I would like to Thank Jeff again, as I was the recipient of the pass into the class final due to Jeff's unfortune. His actions depict what a class act really is.
Jeff is not only a great guy but an awesome engine builder. Thanks again. |
Re: Sportsmanship At The Sportsnationals
I met Jeff and Charlie once way back in the “Crunchy Chicken” Camaro days and I will say this, class is not something you acquire, you’re born with it. Larry’s story confirms it.
