Drag Week canceled
 

Another Major Drag racing event has been canceled. I know none of us are Drag Week contestants, but it's still a pretty major announcement.

2020 Great Race cancelled as well and a VERY limited Lemons 24 schedule. Man I am bored. Phish

My son has run Drag Week six times and I have ridden with him five times. Good people good times.

We skipped last year because it was a such a long tow and were really looking forward to this year.

So there is at least one member here that is totally bummed out.

Matt Forbes and Brandon WIlkinson from Kentucky did Drag Week last year with a former comp car. They were signed up for it again this year and have been working towards it. Matt did a great job of documenting last years trip on social media.

Crazy big dollars to cancel. They had $170,000 in prepaid entries they are returning. And sponsor dollars on top of that. All those dragstrips not getting a portion of that money, could make it tough for them to survive Covid 19 year

Really disappointed Bill, I was looking forward to catching up with you guys at the Indy installment. The diversity and ingenuity of the entrants had made this a bucket list deal for me to come see for myself.

We would have really liked to have talked to you in person and let you see your manifold in action. Hopefully next year.

I would not be surprised if it was the same tracks with Norwalk back in the mix.

Huge DW fan, only went 1 year with my twin turbo GTO. Lots of friends are real bummed about the cancelation this year. Autumn is planning an engine swap and to take the stocker on DW one year so that should be interesting.
