Members - we need your opinion
 

In these trying times with no racing going on because of Covid-19 is it ok to talk about the virus problems or unemployment issues in this section as many of you are self employed or are small business owners who are shut down .

Your thoughts please .

IMO it belongs in the lounge. There are a lot of racers who contribute to the forum who don’t race in Stock or Super Stock and certainly doesn’t mean they should be excluded from such a discussion. While some of the threads in the Lounge are “fluff” or for entertainment only there are others that resonate with us all. For that reason I believe the Lounge is just as legitimate as any and I read threads based solely on the thread title, not which section it resides in.

It’s Kenny’s call.....I will offer 2 observations....In a matter of weeks there are going to be tremendous amounts of BAD haircuts ....both men and women. Although I have been married over 25 years, in the last 3 weeks I have discovered THINGS about my wife I never knew....stay safe everyone....

I think that posts here should mostly pertain to racing, but of course the virus subject could be a part of that.

Gentlemen... COVID-19 is a harsh reality. We as a Nation have been instructed to Self Isolate. A Lounge is a gathering place, I think it should be the place where we can gather and share the related discussion. There is a lot of negative things that this topic generates. I personally visit this site several times a day and find it to be one of positive things to do. If I choose to read about COVID-19, I can sit in the Lounge. Thank you...MB.

I would suggest that no section of this forum is entirely appropriate.

If it's help and assistance that you seek, your efforts here are likely misguided.

If your motivation is to voice complaints regarding how this challenging and, in some cases, tragic scenario has impacted you personally, we all have issues to deal with.

I say the lounge because you always have a few that want to put a political shot to it.

Racing and positive ideas can be heard here, and that includes info pertaining to the virus.

The lounge should be the place for conversations that get too Political or out-of-control. Ken's call to say the least. Thank You and God Bless.
