Scott Gove
 

Scott Gove is running his AA/SA Camaro at SGMP this weekend, but he is not running his SS/AM Daytona. Also, he is entered for Gainesville in the Camaro; but not the Daytona. Does anyone know if he has sold the Daytona, or what the situation may be? The Daytona is my favorite car in drag racing. Thanks for any info.

Scott got on the sheet with his Daytona but was having trouble on the cold track. If you can play Warren’s Friday coverage traction was iffy for some and of course his Daytona is a BEAST. There’s some cars I try to never miss seeing run, that one is on top of the list.

Oops, I stand corrected. Haven’t been watching the broadcast today and tuned in to see Scott’s Daytona must have made a great Q run this morning because he was #1 and just ran a 7.84 to in Round 1.

I believe Gove’s 7.90 would have qualified 15th in Top Sportsman😳

Thanks guys, I checked the Q1 sheet on Friday; and being so used to seeing him at the top of the sheet, I didn't look at the bottom where he was 55th out of 56 cars. Yesterday, I was busy and I didn't check at all. Attribute my lack of diligence to a senior moment. LOL.
