Daytona Ignition

I too have been wanting to try one with internal data logging but haven't been able to get an answer on the legality of it in stock

My son has run Hot Rod's Drag Week six times. He always had at least one MSD failure every year until he switched to Coil Near Plug ignition and removed all MSD parts from the car.

He calls it Makes Spark Disappear.

That being said have run MSD ignition on my race car since Mopar started selling them way back in the day. I have had a little trouble over the years but really don't know of a good alternative. I am hoping the company will get better quality under Holley's ownership.

The best thing about my son going on Drag Week is that I have been able to ride with him five times.

I would hope so also. But it seems that production will go to the lowest offshore bidder.
I bet getting to ride along is a really good time.

I've got one and it seems to work good. I had a couple questions so I called them. The guy I talked to was either a technician or an engineer and was very helpful. I then bought a WB setup from them too.

It would be really fun with a friend, with your son, priceless.

I've ridden along on Drag Week five times too, it's a blast. Even that 105 degree dripping humidity Bowling Green/Indy/StLoo/Memphis one.

I remember that one well.

A lot of time I hang my hand on the roll cage going down the road. That was not an option some of the time that year.

The bolts that mounted my seat belts were like hot rivets.

Re: Daytona Ignition

Sorry for getting this thread a little off topic. I will try to bring it back.

These posts got me interested in their Daytona Sensor WEGO IV Dual Channel Wide-Band Air/Fuel Ratio system. I think their part number is DAY113001.

Does anyone here have experience with that product?

Thanks!
