2010 Cobra Jet Questions

We are new to the Stocker world, but we are in the process of building a 2010 Cobra Jet for my dad. He has not raced in many years and would like to get away from all the electronics such as the Super Comp/Gas, TD that we currently run. So Stock, here we come!

I am needing to speak with someone that understands the engine combinations and could direct me on where to get some on the hard to find parts. I have seen a good amount about George Wright and Jimmy Ronzello, but have not found a contact number for either of them. Any other contacts would be greatly appreciated.

We are looking at going with the 4.6L 3 valve or the 352 push rod combination and not considering the blower motors. Naturally, we would like to pick the most competitive combination and just do not know much about either one. We are certainly not new to Ford as the Super Gas car utilizes an 409 CI Cleveland combo and the Super Comp and TD cars each have 632/638 CI Big Block Ford platforms.

Thank you for any help!

Jimmy Ronzello is probably the best place to start with either of the combinations you mentioned.

Bill Dyer built a 352 Cobra Jet Stick car from end to end and could help as well. He would even consider selling it. This car was Number one in Stock at Indy this year.

This is the absolute best advice you can receive. Bill’s car qualified number one at INDY. Buy the car , put your dads perm number on it and GO racing. The car has been declared LEGAL numerous times and there is absolutely no finer gentleman than Bill Dyer.....

Bills car would be a great choice. If you are going to run a automatic build a 363 combo. I only know of one other car running that combo. You have to change the front and rear fascias and the hood.

I have a set of NOS Ford Racing motor mounts in the box, M-6038-CJPR for any of the pushrod engines in a 2010-2014.
