Sponsorship advice
 

I am close to entering the Stock Elim world and recently had a company approach me about sponsoring the car (currently 13 Camaro PRO class). While I've been in drag racing for quite a few years, I lack education in sponsorship and what norms (if any?) there may be for sportsman drag racing. I want this to be a win for the sponsor too. I did a search and did not see much on the subject. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Ask for more.

Make it worth something.

Be prepared to do work for them displaying car at their events not just decorate you car and uniforms.

Too cheap and they wonder what are they getting for for such a low price.

Drag racing is expensive with lots of exposure - worth it - if the demographics are correct for their target market.
