"Marie's Race Results" Remembered - Please Read
 

Hey everyone,

It came to our attention that Marie D'Agostino passed away around November 2017. Although it was sometime ago, I did not see it posted anywhere, and I thought it would be nice to remember her. Marie's site was the first popular message board to talk about Stock and Super Stock.

I remember her asking me to help design a logo for her forum, Marie was so nice and so pleasant to talk to. I would like to know what memories you have from Marie and her website. I remember lots of controversy with racers back in the day.

I think it would be nice to remember Marie and her website, after all Marie is the reason Class Racer is here. Please join in with some cool stories or just hit the like button.

I'm looking for the logo I made for her, as soon as I find it I will post, maybe someone has it out there.

I didn't know her, but the forum could be rough and tumble, and quite entertaining at times, despite her efforts to keep it civil and on track.

I did not know that Marie had passed away, we will all miss her, belated Gods speed!!
I remember Marie as a very pleasant person to talk to and had a very great personality, would do any thing for you that she could. At the track and on the web, she was great person.
She was very proud of her NHRA Firebird.

Didn't Mike Buff Daddy Carr take over the site for a little while? Seems like he tried to pass it on but I never heard anything after that.

Wasn't Marie married to Wayne Truesdell at one time and that is how she got involved in Stock/ Super Stock. Sorry Wayne I'm sure I misspelled your name. Barry

I had forgotten all about that site.

I may have used a dial up connection to access.

She provided a great service at the time.

I didn't know we lost Marie,
Marie and Wayne were always
lots of fun at the races.
