No comments yet on All Stars tech inspection?
Haven't seen a post yet regarding NHRA's invitation to all All Star competitors to "come early and stay late" with one cylinder head off. Thought I was going back in time to April 1st...or has this happened in the past?

It's been that way every time that I've qualified for the All-Stars.

Re: No comments yet on All Stars tech inspection?
Back in the stone ages, the all stars would tear down after making a time run....after a FEW were dq’ed ,NHRA made the all stars a correctable tear down,.....meaning that if you were WRONG you were allowed to make the necessary corrections to be RIGHT....I believe it is a good idea to come to Joliet with the head removed....Good Move NHRA.......

Yes the teardown and inspection for Stk,and SS cars is usually over ,and done before most of us other racers get into the track.

Before time runs everybody got invited to the trailer for teardown. If something was found that you could correct you were given time to so if in a timely manner.
