wow.... coming from professor dave that means alot... i expected to see you guys out there as well but o well. i have to represent good ol' Norwich CT lol.

thanks to everyone else and to lynn and tom wich were the first people i saw when i got out of the car after the finals, Jonny and Rocky for being up at the starting line for every pass in the shootout, Prof. Nancy for giving my mom a few hints on the track before our first pass and my mom and frank for setting my up on a 90 the very first pass off the trailer on a track we had NEVER seen before and was really tricky, and to everyone else that kept telling me a big win was just around the corner... still looking for my 2nd wally though lol.

i never expected it to be much of a big deal... i figured it was just gonna be some money and out but they made a big deal of it sunday wich pictures and all sorts of stuff.... to bad it was all held after my first round loss in the main race but eitherway we made out pretty well

thanks again to everyone that has supported me and i promiss that this wasnt an accident, hopefully there will be more and a top 10 finish next year. after looking at the points ill probably now finish about 2 rounds out of 10th :-( o well its all good

Al was there with the dragster-Lee was in Atlanta winning comp with the Altered. I was in my office working.
And you did represent the old home town well.

Congrats again Matt. Barring any unforeseen catastrophies, you're a lock for top 10 in the division next year. Keep it up....

I'm glad to hear that they made a somewhat big deal about it too. It's nice rather than it just being a complete afterthought. Hopefully it made the long trip from CT worthwhile (though I know you would have rather gone home with the event Wally).
