It has been nasty in South Louisiana. System moving in now in the area. Probably somewhat soft. A group of racers has been working on their own time out there and I'm sure the track is much better. I will try to get a first hand report tomorrow and post it. I had thought about getting a bus for a Mardi Gras parade in Houma on Friday night, but I am pulling the plug because of weather. Cold air and maybe rain coming on Sunday (forecast anyway). I will see what I can find.

Best days 30% on Friday and Saturday. More rain before (forecast). Sunday more rain and pretty good drop in temp. More later

I was looking forward to coming over and running but have already decided not to make the trip as it is showing bad weather all week. Maybe next time.

I was hoping I could get mine back together on time to go. Love that place. Great people down there. Hope you guys get the race in with no issues.

Just called Div 4 office, got recorded message “gone to No Problem be back Monday”.
If anybody hears any confirmation on race please let me know, hate to drive 600 miles......

weather calls for thunderstorms but shows Friday not measurable, Sat. .02 and Sun .01 inches

they need to cancel this for two reasons. bad weather and Mardi Gras!!!!!!!!! there will be no spectators.all the folks i talked to are going to the Mardi Gras.

Sammy, You are right. the track owner will lose money on this one.
The deck is stacked against him on this one. With about 400 car
nutcracker and ran forecast that would make a owners wallet quiver or put a bank account on life support.

Talked to the track and was told they will make a decision by 2:00 today and post it.
