Dickie Estiveze
I got a call last night that Dickie Estiveze who races a 1964 clone of "Daddy Warbucks" fell about 30 ft to the ground about a month ago working on the finish line score boards at Budds Creek (MIR) and was hurt pretty bad. He is lucky to be alive. If anyone has more info I would appreciate it if they could send me an email to zorascar1966@gmail.com or through class racer. We have been friends since I got out of the Army in 1969 and he was one of the first racers I did cylinder head prep for back in the stone age of drag racing. Thanks.

Terry, I've been following his recovery on Facebook and it would appear that he is making good progress, however not without hiccups.

Re: Dickie Estiveze
The lastest from Pat Estevez; Well it looks like we will have at least one more day in Baltimore. There are no rooms available in southern maryland at this time. Maybe someone will get release for a New Years Eve Party and we can roll into there room as soon as they leave. Or we will have to start the year at his temporary new home till we get him back at home for good. Any how it works out at least he is doing much better today than previous day gone by. He did sleep a lot today but when he was awake he was really himself in conversation. Probably the best so far. Good night to all, keep the prayers coming we really appreciate them.

Re: Dickie Estiveze
I got a call from Jim Morgan in Md. this afternoon. He gave me the scoop. Dickie is doing as well as could be expected. They will send him to the Laplata Md. hospital in a few days. The guys who raced with him will go and seen him when he is able to see someone. Lots of damage from the fall but still breathing.
