Indy Trivia for us Slower Rollers....
I saw a video of the 1978 Stock Eliminator Final Elim's, and it was a slow-roller final between Don Holben's '76 Oldsmobile Station wagon, and Steve Tarrance's '66 Chevy II Nova. I'm guessing Don's wagon was either in M or N/SA, while Steve's car was a V/S entry.
My question is has it been this long since any slow rollers were in a final round at Indy? By that I mean Stocker's that are 13.00 or slower....just curious |
Re: Indy Trivia for us Slower Rollers....
Jim Watson was runner up at Indy a few years ago in his V/SA 6 cylinder Nova.

Rob Roth runner-uped at Indy in the 80's driving a Paul Rossi FWD in X/S. He went red in the final. His wife called him "Robbie Red Light" from that point on.....
