my experience with Lenco's is from the distant past . I can tell you that the clutch discs and sprags for early Lencos are not easy to find anymore.
Also setting the towers to give a acceptable shift for street driving could be an issue.
For a ProStreet car it might be livable. ...Definatly has the WOW factor.
Might find more input from the Comp Forum if there are any old timers left on there, Lenco's have been mostly obsolete for at least the last 25 years or more for conventional door cars.

The last early Lenco I worked on, I used Ford FMX discs and bored the ID an additional .025. They worked perfect and didn't have to hunt for them. MB

Do you have the Lenco? There are people out there, that have that answers, just go know where to find them. If you got the Lenco, put it in and see what you got. Very durable, and I would call Lenco, they might be able to give you some info. I usually go to certain racers at the track that run them.

I usually walk thru top sportsman's staging lanes and see who runs them. Most guys run it behind a convertor. Watched a top alcohol dragster couple of years ago, yearvdown and inspect and put back together his transm. And they showed me what to look gor
