VP C-11 question
C-11 sealed in the drum since last fall. O.K. for break-in? Will it pass fuel check? Or should it be discarded?
Thanks, Joe |
Re: VP C-11 question
Joe, if it has never been opened and stored in a building and not in the sun, you should be fine!

Re: VP C-11 question
Another tip for C-11, always put it back in the drum, including most of what is in the tank or fuel cell leaving just enough to start the motor if needed.
I've never failed fuel check including fuel left over from the year before, just make sure the drum is sealed good. |
Re: VP C-11 question
Joe, I agree with Woodro and Bill. Keep the fuel sealed and out of direct sunlight
you should be fine. I only use C-11 and have never failed a fuel check. Reggie Winkles 4102 J/Stick |
Re: VP C-11 question
Slightly off topic, but is there any power difference in C11 over C12 in a FI LT1?

Re: VP C-11 question
Thanks to all for the responses. Cam, a friend told me 6 HP on the dyno over C-12 with a big block stocker engine.
