I'm pretty sure I'll be dropping out but that won't do you any good until 3 others drop too. I'm still hoping for a lottery win or a scholarship so I can go. Not looking promising. LOL

First I have heard of the requirement for three to drop.before they open it back up.

What is the logic behind that if any?

My guess here is that Jeff is talking about Charlotte and Darrel is referring to the 4wide at Vegas since its over quota.

Because the quota is 65 and there are 68 entered. So you wouldn't be able to enter unless there is 64 or fewer entered.

I would like to take the time to thank NHRA for their ridiculous quotas for national events. I was planning on making the trip to run the Division II race at Galot Motorsports Park. This race by the way is only 1/8 mile and does not get many competitors. From there going to the 4 wide race. Since I can't get entered into the 4 wide race then neither event will get my hard earned money. Thanks again NHRA.....

yes it's the Charlotte race. I should have said that. But with all the snow in NE this last month I'm snow blind. lol...
Chuck, I was thinking the same for the gator's but it filled up and then 6 place's opened up.. wont have to worry next year.. I will be out like a hobo on a hot dog this year....
