4 cyl mustang
Could anybody tell me what letter a 91 4 cyl mustang would fall under? If you have seen one what are they running? Could be a fun cheap winter project. Thanks

Re: 4 cyl mustang
w/s is for the four cylinder cars-just looking at the NHRA classification guide, it looks like that year would be at a real weight disadvantage to the earlier years-if the car is fuel injected, I think it is M/FI and compare it to the 4 cylinder s-10 pickups. Someone got one of those to run really fast.

Re: 4 cyl mustang
just remember the little tricks for "bone stock" ice the intake air the rear tires up & take a quart of oil out of it. ;) also if you can get a short belt (one that dosen't run the AC or power steering) that will help alot.

Re: 4 cyl mustang
Larry,
Have you weighed the car yet? My 1992 2.3l hatchback weighed in at 3240 with 140lb driver. Has pwr door locks, windows, A/C and factory 16" pony wheels all the way around. Factory a4ld trans and almost 230k miles on it. Thought about running it but found 1985 Turbo T-Bird and decided to try it instead. |
