Roger England in need of your prayers
Some of you on here still remember Roger England (now 80) used be quite the terror here in the midwest with his Sox and Martin prepared 70 Cuda. Roger is at Southern Indiana Hospice, he had some complications with pneumonia. Katie his wife of 61 years, mentioned something else but I didn't hear that.

Re: Roger England in need of your prayers
I always liked Rogers red 70 Hemi cuda. He was bad *** in division 3,
he won many races and the car looked great Get well soon Roger. Gregg Luneack |
Re: Roger England in need of your prayers
God Bless you Roger, and thanks for your part of my growing up in Division 3 and watching you race. Your car was awesome looking and ran really quick. You among others have made my memories fun and my stories even more fun. Hope you get well soon.

Re: Roger England in need of your prayers
When I first raced at Ohio Valley Raceway in the late seventies Roger would make the tow from Columbus ,Indiana. As Gregg said....awesome looking SS/Da CUDA and a hard runner....when he had enough I believe he sold the car to Dale Meers in Buffalo, Ky.....Prayers are on the way.....

Re: Roger England in need of your prayers
Raced him a few times in 72 (SS/L) and 73 (SS/D) in Div 3. Always tough and a very nice guy!
Hang tough Roger! |
Re: Roger England in need of your prayers
Raced Roger more than a few times at Edgewater, Kil-Kare, and Tri-State back in the 70's, Roger tough as they come but a real gentleman.
You are in my prayers. |
Re: Roger England in need of your prayers
It saddens me to report that Roger lost his battle. He passed on yesterday.
I will post the obituary, when it becomes available. Ernie Neal SS 354 |
