Now wait, didn't they build a Saudi Arabian export version Gremlin 4 dr that had a 401 11:1 taxi motor in it?? :)

That's straight out of NHRA Class Guide. It says Gremlin 2 door 4 passenger. There is also a 2 door 2 passenger listed in 1970. I assume it did not have a back seat?

That's correct Dwight. There were also some 1970's that had a non rear lift window out back. The two seaters were carpeted like the 68-70 AMX's.

Defiantly made them .
I owned a '70 Gremlin ,2 passenger no back seat ,199" six with a non syncro low 3 speed .not even a radio.
It was sold from the dealership I worked for to a local bakery and was used as a delivery vehicle .
They were intended for use as economical "handyman - delivery "type vehicles ,much like the Tri Five Chevy 150 series cars and wagons.
