CLASS RACER FORUM - Lots of S/SS Races in the Northeast this weekend

There is plenty of opportunity to race your stocker or superstocker this weekend in the northeast. 3 tracks that have supported stock and super stock races for more than 20 years are all hosting races this weekend.

It is a great thing that there are so many choices to run our kind of cars, so go out and support them if you can ! ! !

Sanair (just east of Monteal) is having their 5th annual "Indy Alternative " S/SS event and you can get time trials on Sat and Sunday with eliminations on Sunday. Run by racers for racers truly a great event.See post on classracer for more info

ESTA in Cicero,ny (just north east of Syracuse) is hosting a track run S/SS event on Sunday with a guaranteed payout. The managment for this strip has supported S/SS for years. Go to estadrags.com for more info.

Cayuga, Ontario (Toronto motorsports park),1-2 hours west of buffalo,ny, has a S/SS race on Saturday and another on Sunday. Years ago a D1 points race site, now all new and the site of an IHRA National event the week after Labor day. It may help some racers and the events next year if these were scheduled on different days, they are miles apart, and scheduling is tough , but it is worth mentioning. Hey , it could be like the old days when you raced at one track on Fri night, another Sat and another Sunday.

Thanks to those that have put in the time and money to run,support and organize these 3 events. That is what keeps our great sport going.
