Re: NHRA to reduce Pro Stock fields at some events
Nhra is killing pro stock. The just eliminated the smaller teams. Way to go nhra. First the ignorant idea that EFI would help. Fans don't give a damn about a hood scoop. All that did was cost teams a ton of money. Congratulations nhra on another ignorant decision. Wally Parks is rolling over in his grave. The suits in Glendora have NO clue what their doing ZERO.....

Please somebody explain to me what they are doing? Etown, is in a region that loves Pro Stock. I started going to Etown Fridays to see the friday pro stock session.

Re: NHRA to reduce Pro Stock fields at some events
Why not include the fuel classes, they barely have 8 competitive cars at any event.
The top 5 qualifiers generally may as well have a bye unless somebody screws up 4 rounds of qualifying. |

What will this accomplish?

Re: NHRA to reduce Pro Stock fields at some events
With the Johnson family retiring from Pro-Stock kinda leaves it Pro-Camaro. Factory stock brings way more interest now a days to fans and Detroit. Pro-Stock was my favorite class many years ago. The cars did wheelies in every gear. A blast to watch. You could also tell who made the car. Now they all look like nothing you can buy at the dealer

Re: NHRA to reduce Pro Stock fields at some events
Everyone needs to read the entire Competition Plus article. Pretty sad when essentially every successful team is begging for help and they seem to be largely ignored. I'm now trying to understand why any of those teams wouldn't abandon their programs and funnel their time and $$$ into Pro Mod, Factory Stock, etc. because the hand writing is on the wall. Incredulous that NHRA states how they have "increased TV exposure". Excuse me but think the Leah interviews alone get more air than Pro Stock.
