86 Mustang
I've been reading some old threads about 1979-1993 302 Mustangs on here. Seems like nobody even wants to acknowledge the existence of the 86. Just curious what the reason for the Rodney Dangerfield treatment? (can't get no respect) Thanks

Re: 86 Mustang
79-81 good hp numbers
82 bigger carb/better (aluminum) intake and bigger cam 83-84 poor heads and no roller cam (but same hp as 85) 85 has roller cam and more lift than 83-84 86 sucks for one year only pistons and speed density FI 87-93 Mass air FI with good potential |
Re: 86 Mustang
89 was first year for mass air flow 87-88 speed density

Re: 86 Mustang
86 heads are not good, 87-93 have the better heads.
