Manual 310, automatic 314 w/OEM heads.

Re: 1969 Camaro SS Question
I think it was refactored recently 318? Assuming the small chambers, high HP.That may only apply to GT though.

Re: 1969 Camaro SS Question
Really need to look at website for that combo; if looking for true SS, there is the 255hp and 300hp with OEM or replacment head ratings. Stick or auto?

Re: 1969 Camaro SS Question
If your looking for something soft the 041head (255hp) combo with a 2 brl is pretty good. Runs SS/MA,
I think. |
Re: 1969 Camaro SS Question
The 2 barrel 255/230 hp is a 441 head not 041. The 290/314 is stil 314 in S/S, 318 was the old GT factor which is now 322

Re: 1969 Camaro SS Question
Quote:
The 255/290 HP combo is a natural SS/I (3070lbs)combo and can run J at 3360lbs or H at a very light wt of 2930 lbs. There is no difference in HP for the cowl hood for this engine combo. SS/I,H,G require a license and a certifed cage. J does not require either. |
