Reports from LODRS 6-1 - Boise, Id.
 

Just curious how the weather is and how big a turnout there?? Weather report that I saw looked iffy except for Sunday. Good luck to all that are there.

I don't have any run reports yet. I do know a racer was killed in his pits this morning, trailer door fell on him. He wasn't a Stock or SS racer, I was worried as Don is there. Tragic.

Word is, that it was Dan Barton Comp Racer VERY TRAGIC :(

Thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Definitely NOT the kind of thing you want reported from any event. Hope the rest of the weekend goes better for everyone. I am sure that it will be a somber event.

Any reports on the weather. I heard the possibility of thunderstorms this afternoon.

It sprinkled on and off all day but we almost got all 3 rounds of qualifying in. They stopped it late in the day during the last session of super gas. Today is very cloudy and cold. They are scrubbing then track and weather looks ok till about dinner time again. I will try and post updates when I can.

Thanks for the update Dave. I am getting ready to head out to Pacific Raceways to hang with friends today. Hope to see you at the Divisional race or 1 of the Super Saturday combos this year. I am going to try and make the Mission race this year. Have fun and enjoy the racing.

Still in shock about Dan Barton, such a tragic loss.

Very sad and tragic accident to happen at the track or anywhere. Feel so bad for his family.

It just started raining here pretty hard. It will be a while for sure, if we even get a chance to run.

It has stopped raining and they are drying the track. Hopefully we get a window to run.

They certainly run a great program here. Very racer friendly. I always love coming to this track.
