Interesting Piece of History
A buddy of mine found this and sent it along. I'm just providing it for entertainment, unless one of the SS/AH guys (who would have the money) would be interested in buying it. The seller is Jesse James.

Item pulled from sale?

Re: Interesting Piece of History
Yes, it appears that the listing was taken down. It was for a 1944 KDW (Volkswagen) beetle that was owned and driven by Hermann Goering. In remarkable original shape, given the fact that it's 73 years old. Apparently, when Hitler commissioned the car (which he referred to as "The People's Car"), he gave one to each of his gang, with the intent of showing the German people what a wonderful car they were. This is the only one known to have survived. Jesse James had it for sale, for half a million dollars.

But, what is interesting is what is NOT on the forbidden list. It seems anything owned by the following folk are okay to list for sale: Joseph Stalin Vladimir Lenin Pol Pot Kim Il-sung Abimael Guzman Fidel Castro Che Guevera Mao Tse-tung Nicolae Ceaușescu Kim Jong-il So, if you have an intake manifold, complete vehicle or article of clothing from any on this list, Ebay thinks that will be just fine. In other words, communists, who murdered far more people than the ****s, get a pass. They always do. |

While politics is always in the background, that was the immediate reason for the ban in the first place which was in the very early 2000s. |
