Congrats to Duane Dickens for setting the K/SA National Record (11.49) at the NHRA National Open/Midwest Class Racers event at Kearney Raceway Park

Congratulations, Duane! That was an accomplishment that was long overdue. Was the record in K/SA or J/SA?

Congrats to Duane Dickens 11.49 is impressive, the old record was 11.62 that I set last year at Woodburn. Looks like I have some work to do. I didn't see a sheet on DRC what combo does he run? Is Kearney an altitude adjusted track? Again Congrats Duane.

West coast, K/SA 1966 Chevy Nova 283, yes on altitude track, same as Las Vegas.

Thank you all for the kind words and congratulations.
The Kearney track is an altitude track, the same altitude as Las Vegas, where the last Division 5 meet of the year was held. It was A National Open So, no horsepower for the combination. A great experience. I could not have done it without the help of many friends.
