Empire Schedule Update

Due to an unstable forecast for Sunday, the Saturday Night Bonus race has been cancelled. Sunday’s IHRA Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am tour event will be slated to run on Saturday to ease the amount of on-track time needed on Sunday in case the weather doesn’t cooperate.

For what it's worth, The Ihra staff and empire dragway staff working the empire race did a fantastic job this weekend. They had some tough situations.. Oil downs... Scale issues and crappy weather to deal with and somehow got it all in. Tech was in full effect for the Stockers. I saw valve covers pulled. Carbs checked and more. 👍👍👍👍.

I tell people that Empire is a great place. I run there when I visit my daughter in upstate NY.

You got that right Sam! It was a long long day of racing. Less heat and humidity would have been nice, but they got it done!

I would like to thank John O., the rest of the IHRA staff, and the staff at Empire Dragway for the excellent job last weekend. They were correct in their weather forecasting and were able to compete the two races in one day. I look forward to coming back to this track again next year. It's a friendly place to race and a great facility! Keep up the good work, IHRA.

Can somebody @ IHRA/Empire Stop scheduling DIV 1 races on top of NHRA DIV 1 races. For 2017, I would like to race both sanctions unless they screw DIV 1 up again.
