Jim, my uncle called me earlier this year and has a truck load of 409/348 parts he wants to sell, he lives in W Va. There were short blocks, hi po heads, etc. I have a photo of list and contact info if you will send me your email address.

I have a complete 348 2 - 4 bbl dual quad engine for sale. Less than 200 miles, plug and play. New pistons, balanced , Isky cam, Edlebrock intake and carbs, MSD dist, aluminum water pump and Crane gold rocker arms etc....$5500. Bernie 425.890.0921

Have a friend/customer of mine has 479W(454 crank) engine complete he wants to sale.
He had in 63 SS, said if cranked down on in first or second gear the car would come to a stop until you backed off throttle,LOL
