Remember, Ed, there are no higher highs or lower lows than in drag racing. I'm sure most of us have "quit" more times than we can count. Then, after a couple of days, you start to wonder what you broke and begin taking the car (or engine) apart. When you reach that point, the addiction has fully returned and you're back. To make yourself feel better, you make a couple of improvements while you're reassembling, and actually get excited, thinking that the car might be a couple of hundredths quicker now. It's a horrible disease, but at least you've got lots of fellow addicts to share it with. Hope you return.
